Yorkshire Airport Announces New Route to the European Capital of Culture - Riga

21-Mar-2014 Yorkshire passengers are now heading off to the beautiful Latvian capital of Riga thanks to a new Wizz Air route from Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield.

The twice weekly flights (Mon and Fri) from the Airport to the increasingly popular city will start on June 20. Flights are on sale now.

Riga is known for its beautiful historical city centre and also holds the esteemed status of being a Unesco World Heritage Site. The city was named the European Capital of Culture 2014 and is the perfect destination for anyone looking for a diverse and inspiring weekend getaway.
