Qantas is launching a new daily direct service from Wellington to Brisbane on 29 October 2023, restarting a service that last operated in 2015. This is great news for travellers, creating more choice, competition, and connections!
Wellington Airport are thrilled with the addition to our international schedule, and to celebrate we're giving away seats on the inaugural flight!
The Getaway prize pack includes:
- Two seats on the first Wellington to Brisbane flight with Qantas, departing Wellington at 4.25pm on 29 October 2023
- Two nights' accommodation at Rydges South Bank Brisbane (29 and 30 October 2023)
- A Travelex Money Card loaded with AUD$100
- Two direct seats from Brisbane to Wellington with Qantas (return date to be confirmed)
- $200 Lotte Duty Free voucher to spend at Wellington Airport
- Wellington Airport valet parking for the duration of your trip.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Brisbane getaway prize pack consists of:
- Two seats on the first Wellington to Brisbane flight with Qantas, departing Wellington at 4.25pm on 29 October 2023
- Two nights' accommodation at Rydges South Bank Brisbane (29 and 30 October 2023)
- A Travelex Money Card loaded with AUD$100
- Two direct seats from Brisbane to Wellington with Qantas (return date to be confirmed)
- $200 Lotte Duty Free voucher to spend at Wellington Airport
- Wellington Airport valet parking for the duration of your trip.
The prize winner is responsible for paying all additional costs associated with the getaway prize pack that are not specifically included.
Terms and conditions for Qantas flights:
- Prize winner and their companion will be booked on the inaugural Qantas Wellington to Brisbane flight:
- QF356, Embraer 190
- Sunday 29 October 2023, departing WLG at 16:25 (subject to any changes to the schedule by Qantas)
- Economy class.
- Reservations and ticketing must be made through the Qantas Sales & Marketing team. Please have your passport bio-date pages and preferred return date available.
- Due to prior commercial demand, booking for the return flight (Brisbane to Wellington) may be subject to travel restrictions, blackout dates and availability at time of booking. Return seats will be on the direct Brisbane to Wellington service, in economy class.
- Any visa application and associated costs are the responsibility of the prize winner.
- This prize is not transferable, and cannot be en-cashed, sold, nor can it be redeemed in any other form.
- Name changes are not permitted. Once ticketed, normal fare rules and conditions of carriage apply.
- Travel is valid on Qantas operated services only.
- Applicable Government Taxes, Surcharges, Travel Insurance are not included with this prize. You will be advised on the procedure for paying government taxes during the ticketing process.
Terms and conditions for accommodation at Rydges South Bank Brisbane:
- Accommodation inclusion is a standard queen room at Rydges South Bank Brisbane, with check in on 29/10/2023 and check out 31/10/2023.
- Room category and dates cannot be changed.
- Prize includes accommodation costs only.
- The prize winner is required to present a credit card on arrival, for any ancillary or related charges for the reservation. The prize winner is explicitly responsible for paying all additional costs associated with the reservation.
- This prize is not transferable, and cannot be en-cashed, sold, nor can it be redeemed in any other form.

This prize will be issued in the form of a Lotte Duty Free gift voucher, and cannot be en-cashed or redeemed in any other form.
