Wereldprimeur op Groningen Airport Eelde: onthulling waterstof-GPU

Vandaag werd op Groningen Airport Eelde de eerste Ground Power Unit (GPU) op waterstof onthuld. Een wereldprimeur! GPU's zijn aggregaten die worden ingezet om vliegtuigen aan de grond van stroom te voorzien. Op dit moment worden voornamelijk diesel-GPU's ingezet op luchthavens. Op initiatief van Groningen Airport Eelde is zo'n dieselaggregaat omgezet naar waterstoftechnologie: een duurzame oplossing én op dit moment uniek in de wereld.
