Vietnam Airlines Further Cuts Domestic Capacity

In order to take precautionary measures against the COVID-19 pandemic and comply with the authorities' requirements, Vietnam Airlines announces that adjustments will be made to domestic flight schedules between the 1st of April and the 15th of April, 2020.

- Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City: 01 return flight per day
- Hanoi - Danang, Ho Chi Minh City - Danang: 01 return flight per day on each route.
- Other domestic routes will be temporarily suspended from the 1st of April until further notice.

The flight schedule is subject to change depending on actual operational circumstances. Vietnam Airlines will support passengers affected by COVID-19 regarding flight date and itinerary changes as per its policies.

All flight crews, including pilots, flight attendants, and technical staff members, are equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE) such as protective overalls, gloves, masks, and safety glasses. Measurement of body temperature and electronic health declaration are required of all passengers and flight crews before embarkation, while adequate physical distance is maintained between seats aboard. All passengers are kindly requested to wear masks during their flights and will be denied boarding if suspected of COVID-19 infection.

Starting 0:00 the 25th of March, all Vietnam Airlines' aircraft serving domestic routes have been disinfected upon landing in Hanoi, Danang, and Ho Chi Minh City, plus all aircraft operated during the day will be disinfected once more at the end of the day.
