Vanilla Air starts new cooperation with Value Alliance member

Vanilla Air Inc., the Japanese Low Cost Carrier 100% owned by ANA Holdings Inc. (hereafter Vanilla Air) is pleased to announce that it will start new cooperation with Scoot (airline based in Singapore Changi International Airport). Now customers can book and purchase connection itinerary with Scoot through Vanilla Air website (vanilla-air.com).

This one stop service (book & purchase) is a product of Value Alliance, established in May 2016 among Cebu Pacific, Jeju Air, Nok, Nok Scoot, Scoot, Tigerair Singapore, Tigerair Australia and Vanilla Air. The service is provided using platform developed by Air Black Box, which connects different airline reservation system. Vanilla Air will provide the product with Scoot, starting 29 November 2016 2 PM (Japan time) and has a plan to expand the product among alliance member airlines.

Vanilla Air customers can now book and purchase the connection itinerary through Taipei (Taoyuan International Airport) and Tokyo (Narita International Airport) on Vanilla Air website. Destinations include Singapore, and further onto Australia (Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney), Saudi Arabia (Jeddah) and Thailand (Bangkok).Customers can also purchase ancillary products at the time of booking. The travel period for this connecting itinerary is from 5th December 2016 and onwards.　Customers can book one way or round trip (with same origin and destination) and the itinerary can include up to 6 segments.

For those customers wishing to purchase the connection itinerary, you do not have to bother to visit different website. Instead, access to Vanilla Air website and complete your booking and purchase at one stop. Low cost airlines normally do not compensate for irregular operation and miss connection. But now…you do not need to worry about missing your connecting flight! If you book your itinerary using our service, the connection will be secured. In case your first flight is delayed, the connecting airline will rebook you to the next flight available free of charge (subject to seat availability). Now you can easily book and purchase your preferred itinerary at one stop!

ANAホールディングス100%出資のレジャー・リゾートLCC、バニラエア（代表取締役社長：五島勝也、所在地：千葉県成田市）は2016年11月29日（火）14:00より、バニラエアの公式ウェブサイト(vanilla-air.com)からシンガポール・チャンギ国際空港を拠点とする中長距離LCC、スクート（CEO：リー・リクシン、所在地:シンガポール）の路線網へのワンストップ予約を開始いたしました。

本サービスはアジア太平洋地域の大手LCC8社（セブパシフィック航空、チェジュ航空、ノックエア、ノックスクート、スクート、タイガーエア・シンガポール、タイガーエア・オーストラリア、バニラエア）により2016年5月に設立された『バリューアライアンス』がエア・ブラック・ボックス社のシステムを通じて実現したもので、バニラエアと加盟航空会社間のシステム連携は今回が初。

今後お客様は、バニラエアのウェブサイト上で台北（桃園）もしくは東京（成田）乗り継ぎのシンガポール行き航空券や、シンガポールからスクートが就航している3カ国6都市（オーストラリア（ゴールドコースト、メルボルン、パース、シドニー）、サウジアラビア（ジェッダ）、タイ（ドンムアン））への乗り継ぎ航空券、また座席指定・追加手荷物などの付帯サービスの同時購入ができるようになります。購入可能となるのは2016年12月5日（月）からのご搭乗分で、【片道予約】および発着地が同一の【往復予約】の最大6区間の旅程をご予約いただけます。

今回のシステム連携の最大の魅力は、旅の計画がより簡便になること。異なる航空会社を利用する際、今までは各社のウェブサイトで予約や支払いをお客様自身で別々に行う必要がありましたが、これからはワンストップで予約手続きを行えるため、旅の計画がより気軽になります。また、通常LCCでは保証していない航空会社間の乗り継ぎについても利便性が向上。航空会社事由で乗り継ぎができない場合は、ご予約いただいている加盟航空会社の空席のある次便に無償で振替ができます。
