Tropical Cyclone Debbie Virgin Australia
27-Mar-2017 Adverse weather conditions resulting from Tropical Cyclone Debbie continue to affect flights in the north coast of Queensland region.
Virgin Australia will not operate any flights to or from Hamilton Island, Mackay or Proserpine and some flights to or from Townsville today, Monday 27 March 2017. All flights in or out of Hamilton Island, Mackay, Proserpine and Townsville will not operate on Tuesday 28 March 2017.
Options are available for affected travellers holding a valid ticket for travel from Sunday 26 March 2017 through to Wednesday 29 March 2017 to be re-booked on an alternative service or hold a credit for use at a later date. Affected guests are encouraged to call our Guest Contact Centre on 13 67 89 to discuss these options.
