28-Mar-2017 Update as at 10.00am AEST Tuesday 28 March 2017. Adverse weather conditions resulting from Tropical Cyclone Debbie continue to affect flights in the north coast of Queensland region.

Virgin Australia is not operating any flights to or from Hamilton Island, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Townsville today, Tuesday 28 March 2017. All flights in or out of Hamilton Island, Mackay, Moranbah and Proserpine will also not operate tomorrow, Wednesday 29 March 2017. An update on the operation of flights to or from Emerald, Middlemount and Townsville on Wednesday 29 March 2017 will be provided by 6pm today.

Options are available for affected travellers holding a valid ticket for travel from Sunday 26 March 2017 through to Wednesday 29 March 2017 to be re-booked on an alternative service or hold a credit for use at a later date. Affected guests are encouraged to call our Guest Contact Centre on 13 67 89 to discuss these options.
