SMBC Aviation Capital delivers first ever Airbus A321neo LR to Icelandair
SMBC Aviation Capital is pleased to announce the delivery of one (1) Airbus A321neo LR (MSN 12213) equipped with two (2) IAE PW1133G-JM engines to Icelandair.
The aircraft was delivered while located at the Airbus facility in Hamburg and is the first Airbus aircraft that Icelandair has put into operation.
This is the first of three (3) aircraft set to deliver before summer 2025 with two further aircraft to set for delivery in 2026. All five (5) aircraft are from SMBC Aviation Capital's direct order with Airbus.
