Schiphol Group supports KLM with the launch of its biofuel-powered intercontinental flights

08-Mar-2013 Today, Schiphol Group together with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and leading global air carriers KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Delta Air Lines, announced the launch of a first-ever series of intercontinental KLM flights, powered by second-generation biofuel. This second-generation biofuel is made from processed frying fat and does not have a negative impact on biodiversity or food production.
