06-Dec-2017 Between January and November 2017, the increase in passenger flow in Santiago airport has reached a historic figure of 11.14%.

In 2016, 19.2 million passengers arrived at Santiago airport, a figure that will exceed 21 million by the end of 2017. In terms of international passenger visits, Santiago Airport's growth has exceeded the average performance of all the world regions (Latin America, Europe, North America, Asia-Oceania and Africa).
Santiago airport has been operated since October 2015 by the Nuevo Pudahuel consortium (VINCI Airports, Aéroports de Paris and Astaldi) under the terms of a 20-year concession. An extensive program of construction work will virtually double the capacity of the airport to 32 million passengers per year in response to the impressive potential for growth in air traffic.
