San Diego International Airport Celebrates the Announcement of Six New Seasonal Nonstop Routes on Allegiant

San Diego International Airport (SAN) will soon add seasonal nonstop service to six U.S. cities on Allegiant, the low-cost airline announced today.

Allegiant will offer flights from SAN to Las Vegas six times weekly beginning June 3 through August 17.

Cities that will have twice weekly flights from SAN include:

  • Tulsa, Okla. - June 3 through August 15
  • Billings, Mont. - June 4 through August 16
  • Medford, Ore. - June 4 through August 16
  • Sioux Falls, S.D. - June 5 through August 17
  • Idaho Falls, Idaho - June 5 through August 17

"The addition of these seasonal summer routes is great news all around," said Kim Becker, President and CEO of the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority. "Allegiant travelers will enjoy coming to San Diego during the summer months to experience the many offerings for which our amazing region is known. Additionally, San Diegans now have new nonstop flights to some wonderful cities so I hope they take advantage of this opportunity to explore them."

Tickets are already on sale on their website, allegiant.com. With the exception of Las Vegas, the new service offers travelers direct access to cities that are not currently served by other airlines from SAN.

Allegiant already offers seasonal nonstop flights to four other cities to/from SAN including Bellingham, Wash., El Paso, Texas, Eugene, Ore., and Stockton, Calif.
