Royal Brunei Airlines and Japan Airlines Agree on Codeshare Agreement

Royal Brunei Airlines, the national airline of Brunei Darussalam, and Japan Airlines (JAL) today announced a codeshare agreement that will allow JAL to offer four weekly flights between Bandar Seri Begawan and Tokyo Narita. Royal Brunei will place its code on flights to major cities in Japan, such as Sapporo New Chitose, Osaka Itami, Nagoya Chubu, and Fukuoka, offering greater options for RB guests.

Ticket sales will begin from February 14 on all channels and major GDS, for travels from February 17, 2020, subject to regulatory approvals.

JALは、2020年2月17日よりロイヤルブルネイ航空(BI）との間で、同社の運航する成田とバンダル・
スリ・ブガワンを結ぶ路線において、コードシェアを開始します。

ロイヤルブルネイ航空は1974年に創立されたブルネイのフラッグキャリアで、14機の航空機を保有
しています。

ブルネイは、東南アジアのボルネオ島（カリマンタン島）の北部に位置する国であり、「永遠に平和な国」という意味があります。ブルネイの国土の約6割を熱帯雨林が占める自然豊かなこの国であり、治安が良く，世界最大の水上集落「カンポン・アイル」や世界最大級の王宮「イスタナ・ヌルル・イマン」などの観光名所があります。

JALは、今後も路線・ネットワーク、商品・サービス品質の向上にチャレンジし、お客さまの利便性向上とさらなるサービスの拡充を図ってまいります。
