REX Announces Community Fare For Mildura To Adelaide

Following discussions held between the Chairman of Mildura Airport Pty Ltd (MAPL) Peter O'Donnell and the Regional Express (Rex) Board on 20 November 2018, Rex and MAPL are happy to announce that a new four-year partnership agreement has been reached. The partnership agreement will see the commitment by Rex to maintain its services to Melbourne, Adelaide and Broken Hill as well as the introduction of the Rex Community Fare scheme between Mildura and Adelaide.

The $129.00 "Rex Community Fare" will be available on 25% of total seats between Mildura and Adelaide for advanced bookings of at least 30 days prior to departure. In addition, all remaining seats 24 hours prior to departure will be available at the Community Fare (Rex Promo) level.

Rex has also committed to consider the re-introduction of the Mildura-Sydney route once the pilot shortage has eased.

With the partnership agreement in place, Rex is able to invest in introducing the Rex Community Fare Scheme to the Mildura/Adelaide route which has already been successfully introduced in 14 other regional communities."
