PLAY Airlines Ceases Operations

Immediately following the announcement, Keflavík Airport activated its contingency plan for airline cessation, which is now being implemented. A total of 12 PLAY flights were canceled at KEF today-six departures and six arrivals-impacting approximately 1,750 passengers. Airport staff at KEF have been assisting PLAY passengers on site, providing updates on the situation and informing them of their rights in line with guidance from the Icelandic Transport Authority.
