Norwegian and the American airline JetBlue enter into cooperation agreements. The collaboration allows both low-cost companies' customers to easily order forwarding connections in one and the same booking.

JetBlue has a significant line network in the US, the Caribbean and Latin America while Norwegian has a number of transatlantic lines and a large line network in Europe. The collaboration enables customers to book through-air flights in a single booking on both companies' line networks. The goal is for continuous tickets to be available on both companies' websites.

- This cooperation will give travelers even more choice. JetBlue is the largest airline on several of our US bases such as New York and Fort Lauderdale, which will give both our and JetBlue's customers access to a large line network on both sides of the Atlantic. JetBlue is an ideal partner for us as the company has a significant presence in the US, the Caribbean and Latin America, says Geir Karlsen, acting CEO and CFO of Norwegian.

At the three hubs of New York JFK, Boston and Fort Lauderdale, Norwegian travelers have access to 60 domestic routes in the United States as well as 40 routes to the Caribbean and Latin America. JetBlue's customers can fly to Europe with Norwegian on over 20 lines.

- This collaboration provides travelers with seamless forwarding within Jetblue's extensive line network in the United States, the Caribbean and Latin America in combination with Norway's exciting destinations in Europe. Norwegian and JetBlue share the vision that increased competition and low prices are good for customers, especially on transatlantic lines dominated by sky-high prices, network companies and alliances, says Robin Hayes, CEO of JetBlue.

Travelers will be able to book through tickets with Norwegian and JetBlue on both companies' websites during the first half of 2020. They will then also be able to check in luggage all the way.
