International Air Services Commission: Notification Of Determinations And Decision

Dec-2017 On 7 December 2017, the International Air Services Commission (the Commission) issued the following renewal determinations and decision:

China route

  • [2017] IASC 129 in favour of Qantas Airways Limited (Qantas) renewing unlimited capacity allocation to operate all-cargo services on the China route. The determination is valid for 10 years from 24 October 2018.

Indonesia route

  • [2017] IASC 132 allocating in favour of Virgin Australia International Airlines Pty Ltd (VAIA) 1,980 seats per week of capacity, valid for five years from 8 October 2018 and permitting the capacity to be used by either VAIA or another Australian carrier which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of VAIA.
  • [2017] IASC 133 allocating in favour of VAIA 1,260 seats per week of capacity on the Indonesia route, valid for five years from 25 October 2018.
  • [2017] IASC 130 in favour of Qantas renewing the capacity allocation on the Indonesia route, valid for five years from 25 October 2018.

Singapore route

  • [2017] IASC 131 in favour of Qantas allocating unlimited capacity and frequency on the Singapore route other than all-cargo services. The determination is valid for 10 years from 31 October 2018.
