ICAO: Strong Traffic Growth in 2011 Reflects Improved Global Economic Climate

06-Jan-2012 Approximately 2.7 billion passengers travelled by air in 2011, up 5.1 per cent over the previous year, according to preliminary figures released today by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
