Grupo Viva Aerobus Achieves A 42% Growth In Its Operating Income In The 2q2019

Grupo Viva Aerobus, holding company of Viva Aerobus, Mexico's ultra-low-cost carrier, reported a 42.1% increase in its operating income corresponding to 2Q2019 compared to the same period of the previous year, totaling 359 million pesos. This is the result of operational efficiencies that, within an inflationary environment in terms of airport costs and a high level of competition, allowed the airline to keep one of the lowest cost schemes.
