GDS closed for Etihad and ITA Airways codeshare tickets from 15 February 2023
As part of an ambitious digital transformation to enhance our booking and servicing solutions for our travel partners and guests, Etihad and ITA Airways will be upgrading our selling systems. We will be migrating from Sabre to the Amadeus Altea PSS system.To make this change possible, codeshare tickets for EY*AZ and AZ*EY codeshare marketing flights have been closed for sale from 15 February 2023, effective immediately and for the system range. This affects these codeshare flights only.
We expect to be back on sale for travel from week commencing 12 March 2023:
Pending successful migration of both airline systems we anticipate we will reopen EY AZ codeshare sales from week commencing 12 March 2023. There may be some interruption to interline selling for a similar period.
Recommendation of existing bookings affected and action required:
Existing bookings for this travel period will be reaccommodated by EY/AZ on respective operating prime flights. Reaccommodation activity will commence this week (from 23 Oct) and may take some days to complete. Agents will need to take action to update and re-issue tickets once notification messages are received through the GDS.
