Direct News Source

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) will be the sixth airport to offer SkySquad, a new concierge service brought to the airport by Food & Shops, the airport's concessions program.

SkySquad provides travelers with a dedicated on-site assistant at the airport and is focused on providing an extra set of hands when they are needed the most. SkySquad will provide curb-to-gate services for anyone in need of assistance, including elderly passengers, passengers with children, or passengers with pets.

SkySquad has also partnered with AtYourGate, the leading in-airport food and retail delivery service at PHL, which will provide SkySquad customers with the ability to get what they need delivered to their gate.

"We're excited to bring SkySquad to Philadelphia," said Mel Hannah, vice president and general manager of MarketPlace PHL. "We're always looking for ways to improve travelers' experiences, and SkySquad's offerings will do just that."

SkySquad offers a variety of à la carte services including but not limited to: assistance with getting you from your car to ticketing, security and/or your gate; assistance with childcare and luggage; contactless food delivery; and even keeping an eye on your luggage while you grab a snack or use the restroom.

"We are thrilled to bring SkySquad to the Philadelphia International Airport, said Julie Melnick, CEO and founder of SkySquad. "Our mission is to reinvent the airport experience by providing travelers with a helping hand. Now, travelers can experience the joy of travel without worrying about the stress that comes along with it. Our team of airport assistants will meet you at your car door and provide support until the minute you walk onto the jetway."

While SkySquad's services do not include wheelchair or other rentals, wheelchair service and other accessibility services are offered through PHL.
