Finnair Traffic Performance in August 2013

In August, Finnair traffic measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometres rose by 12.3 per cent and the overall capacity grew 6.4 per cent year‐on‐year. Passenger load factor improved by 4.5 percentage points and was 85.2 per cent.

The capacity in Asian traffic grew by 4.4 per cent and the traffic measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometres by 12.0 per cent year‐on‐year.

European traffic measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometres grew by 17.5 per cent and capacity by 12.8 per cent year-on-year.

Leisure traffic measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometres grew by 7.3 per cent and capacity grew by 7.8 per cent year-on-year.

In cargo, traffic measured in revenue tonne kilometres grew by 0.8 per cent and the overall capacity grew by 8.5 per cent year-on-year. The load factor was 4.9 percentage points below last year's level and was 64.2 per cent.

In August, the arrival punctuality of Finnair flights was excellent. In Scheduled traffic, 93.5 per cent of flights arrived on schedule (93.7). Of all traffic, 93.1 per cent (93.4) of flights were on schedule.
