Fiji Airways To Trial Cashless Transactions At Wellington And Christchurch Airports

Fiji Airways, Fiji's national airline, has announced it will trial cashless transactions at Wellington International Airport and Christchurch International Airport.

Starting from Thursday May 10th 2018, the airline will trial accepting major international credit and debit cards or New Zealand EFTPOS cards only for airport desk transactions including new ticket purchase, Business Class upgrades, lounge access, Extra Leg Room seats, Up Front seats, Quiet Zone and excess or oversized baggage fees.

Fiji Airways currently operates 15 flights a week between New Zealand and Fiji, which includes three weekly services between Christchurch and Nadi, (flight time of under four hours). In addition, it's an easy, convenient one-stop flight to Los Angeles, San Francisco and Singapore. It is the only airline to offer child discounted airfares as well as a daily business class travel option directly from New Zealand to Fiji.
