Extension of Period for Temporary Suspension of Thai AirAsia Domestic Flights

Reference is made to the notification ofAsia Aviation Public Company Limited (the Company), a major shareholder of Thai AirAsia Company Limitedto announcethe temporary suspensionof its all scheduled domestic commercial flight operations starting July12,2021 until August8,2021due to outbreak of COVID-19, details of which were notified.The Company would like to inform you thatin view of the severely continuing epidemic situation of COVID-19and the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT)made an announcement about the operation for Airline operators during the current COVID-19 pandemicsituation to beprohibitedfor passenger flight operations in certain restricted areasand Red areas, from July21,2021until end of the situation or furtherannouncementas well as governments continued imposing travel and movement restrictions, Thai AirAsia announces the extension of period for temporary suspensionof its all scheduled domestic commercial flight operations starting July12,2021 until August31, 2021or further announcementby governments and related regulatory.The Company and Thai AirAsia will continue to evaluate the situation closely and we are preparedto reinstate our services as soon as the situation improvesand the regulationsare eased.
