Every third flight ticket in June was purchased online

The share of flight tickets sold online in June increased to 34% of the overall number of tickets sold, by 9% percentage points year-on-year. It is estimated that due to the coronavirus pandemic and the importance of maintaining physical distance, a change in passenger habits occurred, therefore, instead of every fifth, now one in three Air Serbia passengers purchased their ticket online.

"The growth trend when it comes to online sales is not surprising at all, considering that it is a method of shopping that is available 24/7, completely contactless and safe, which is a major advantage during the coronavirus pandemic. Air Serbia is quickly innovating and digitalising its operations, aiming to improve the efficiency and quality of service. It is my pleasure that I can announce a nice surprise for our passengers during this week already, specifically in the domain of digitalisation," stated General Manager Commercial and Strategy at Air Serbia Jiri Marek.

By registering a personal profile on Air Serbia's website, passengers can save money by purchasing tickets at discounted prices. In the first two months of 2020, the number of passengers who opened their personal profiles on Serbian national airline's website went up 156% year-on-year. In addition to being safer and more comfortable, purchasing flight tickets via Air Serbia's website guarantees the lowest prices for passengers, and the possibility of being directly notified if there is any change in flight schedule by e-mail or SMS.

Tokom juna je zabeležen rast onlajn prodaje avio-karata na 34 odsto od ukupnog broja prodatih karata, odnosno za 9 procentnih poena u odnosu na isti period prošle godine. Procenjuje se da je usled pandemije korona virusa i važnosti održavanja fizičke distance došlo do promene navika putnika, pa je tako, umesto svakog petog, karte putem interneta kupio svaki treći putnik Er Srbije.

"Trend rasta onlajn prodaje uopšte ne iznenađuje, imajući u vidu da je reč o modelu kupovine koji je dostupan 24 časa dnevno sedam dana u nedelji i to potpuno beskontaktno i bezbedno što, u vreme pandemije korona virusa, predstavlja značajnu prednost. Er Srbija ubrzano sprovodi inovaciju i digitalizaciju svog poslovanja, u cilju unapređenja efikasnosti i kvaliteta usluge. Zadovoljstvo mi je što mogu da najavim da naše putnike već tokom ove nedelje očekuje jedno lepo iznenađenje, upravo u oblasti digitalizacije," izjavio je Jirži Marek, direktor za komercijalu i strategiju Er Srbije.

Registracijom ličnog profila na sajtu Er Srbije putnici mogu da uštede kupujući karte po sniženim cenama. Tokom prva dva meseca 2020. godine, broj putnika koji je otvorio svoj lični profil na sajtu srpske nacionalne avio-kompanije povećan je za čak 156 odsto, u odnosu na isti period prošle godine. Pored većeg nivoa komfora i bezbednosti, kupovina avio-karata putem sajta Er Srbije putnicima pruža garanciju najniže cene, ali i mogućnost da putem i-mejla ili SMS-a budu direktno obavešteni ukoliko dođe do bilo kakve promene u redu letenja.
