Delta Returns to Keflavik Airport

U.S. airline Delta has announced plans to fly to Iceland from three U.S. destinations this coming summer. In addition to Minneapolis and New York they have added Boston which is a new destinaton for the airline to and from Keflavik Airport. The flights will start in May.

"We are delighted be news of this announcement by Delta," says Guðmundur Daði Rúnarsson, Chief Commercial and Airport Development Officer at Keflavik Airport. "The addition of Boston as a new destination is confirmation of what we have been saying recently. There is great interest in Iceland as a destination post Covid-19. Natural locations with many scenic attractions will be what people will look for when they travel again."

The first flight to Boston this summer is scheduled from May 20th. The first flight to New York is scheduled for May 1st and the first flight to Minneapolis/St. Paul is scheduled for May 27th. There will be daily flights to and from these three destinations this summer.
