Delta adds 50th destination from Boston with new Las Vegas service starting Oct. 1

Delta's daily BOS-LAS schedule is conveniently timed for both business and leisure travelers:

The onboard experience will be on Boeing 737-800 aircraft with seating for 16 in First Class, 36 in Comfort+ and 108 in the main cabin, featuring in-flight entertainment at every seat and streaming via Delta Studio in addition to Wi-Fi access.

Delta's broad service at Las Vegas

Delta and partners offer more than 70 daily departures from Las Vegas on an average day, including proposed (pending final government approvals) joint venture partners WestJet and Korean Air and joint cooperation agreement partner Aeromexico.

Recent Delta service increases include an additional daily flight to San Diego that began in 2017 and Seattle beginning in July 2018 for improved intra-West connectivity. Las Vegas service provides Boston customers with a new and convenient gateway to top intra-west destinations such as San Jose and Orange County, California (SNA).

Delta dates its Las Vegas presence back to Western Airlines' inaugural service on April 17, 1926 - the first scheduled commercial airline service to Las Vegas from Los Angeles. Western merged with Delta in 1987. Delta began jet service at Las Vegas more than 50 years ago on June 1, 1962.

Delta's leading global network in Boston

Delta is continuing its investment in Boston by reaching 112 peak day departures by this summer, an increase of 19 departures compared with summer 2017 and 29 departures over summer 2016. Delta and its partners serve 50 total destinations from Boston, including 17 international destinations and the largest transatlantic network.

Delta's new service to Las Vegas complements numerous Boston service enhancements made in 2018. This spring Delta added new seasonal weekend service to New Orleans, Savannah, and Charleston, with Charleston service increasing to daily beginning in summer. This leisure expansion continues with new Saturday service to Aruba as of June, marking Delta's sixth destination in the Caribbean from Boston. Additional flights to top business markets begin this summer from Boston to Nashville, Atlanta, Seattle, Kansas City, Jacksonville, and Pittsburgh.

Serving Boston customers with premium products and amenities

Delta is committed to enhancing the customer experience in Boston, and offers more first class seats than any other carrier with first class on every flight as of June as Buffalo service is upgraded to two-class regional jets. Delta Sky Club operates two locations in Terminal A providing customers with several healthy and fresh food choices and a number of complimentary drink options including local Samuel Adams craft beer and Starbucks coffee. THE BAR at Delta Sky Club offers wines and premium spirits. SkyMiles members can use miles for premium drinks with a swipe of their boarding pass.

Delta offers full flat-bed seats in Delta One on all flights to Europe, select flights to Los Angeles as well as on all flights to Boston's No. 1 domestic destination, San Francisco. Delta One customers enjoy Westin Heavenly In-Flight Bedding featuring a full-size pillow and quilted comforter, chef-designed cuisine, a wine program curated by Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson, a TUMI amenity kit featuring Kiehl's Since 1851 skincare products and an Alessi-designed collection of serviceware. Customers flying in Delta Comfort+ will benefit from up to four additional inches of legroom and 50 percent more recline than Main Cabin seats, as well as priority boarding, and every customer will enjoy Delta Studio, which includes hundreds of complimentary movies, TV shows, songs and games as well as Wi-Fi access on all aircraft except CRJ-200s.
