Continued increase in international traffic at Stockholm Arlanda
International traffic at Stockholm Arlanda Airport continues to rise, although the rate is slowing. As many as 1,148,500 passengers flew internationally to or from Stockholm Arlanda in November 2012, an increase of 2 per cent compared to the same month in 2011.
The number of passengers at Stockholm Arlanda increased by 1 per cent compared to November 2011 to a total of almost 1,600,000 passengers. And despite a decrease in the number of domestic passengers for the second month in a row, the number of passengers this year is almost 18,300,000, an increase of 3 per cent compared to the period January-November 2011.
The total number of landings at Stockholm Arlanda in November was about 9,300, which means there was no change compared to the same month in 2011.
"Unless something unforeseeable occurs in December, it means that 2012 will be a new record year for Stockholm Arlanda," says Jan Lindqvist, director of communications at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
