Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport of China Stepping into the "30 Million Airports Club"
12-Dec-2012 At 9:05 am, on December 12th, 2012, CA4440, flying from Gui Yang, landed on the runway smoothly. This flight showed that the passenger numbers of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CDIA) of China broke through 30 million, making CDIA the fifth airport in mainland China and also the only one in central-western China that stepped into the "30 Million Airports Club." It has been only three years since the passenger numbers broke through 20 million in 2009, now CDIA has realized a new historical leap again.
