The Punta Gorda Airport is pleased to announce that Allegiant will offer nonstop airline service to Nashville, Tennessee to begin June 7. With this addition of service to the Nashville International Airport (BNA), Allegiant now has nonstop service to forty-one cities from the Punta Gorda Airport (PGD).

The new year-round route will operate twice weekly from Nashville International Airport (BNA). The new flights will bring nearly 20,000 additional visitors to the area. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.

"We are pleased that Allegiant's presence in Charlotte County has continued to grow," said James W. Parish, Punta Gorda Airport CEO. "Allegiant's partnership at the Punta Gorda Airport is not only about adding destinations, but about investments that will help improve services, create more efficiencies and increase economic growth for Charlotte County."

The Charlotte County Airport Authority (CCAA) agrees that Nashville is an excellent destination to add to Allegiant's growing number of non-stop routes from Punta Gorda.

"Our local residents will be excited to take advantage of low fares to visit Nashville's historical, cultural and musical attractions," said CCAA Board Secretary/Treasurer Kathleen Coppola. "We look forward to welcoming new visitors from Tennessee to experience Charlotte Harbor's natural environment, recreational opportunities and charm."
