Changi Airport Well Positioned As Gateway To Asia And Southwest Pacific
03-Oct-2011 Singapore Changi Airport handled a record 42.0 million passenger movements in 2010, crossing the 40-million mark for the first time and joining a league of only seven airports in the world to handle more than 40 million international passenger movements. For the 12 months ended August 2011, Changi Airport registered 45.1 million passenger movements, an increase of 10.1% over the previous corresponding period. Changi is on track to surpass its annual passenger traffic record this year, bringing it closer to achieving 50 million passenger movements by 2013.
