Cathay Pacific Announces Appointment Of New Director Corporate Affairs
26-May-2016 Cathay Pacific Airways today announced that Arnold Cheng will take up the position of Director Corporate Affairs with effect from 11 July 2016. He will oversee every aspect of the airline's activities relating to corporate communications, stakeholder relations, corporate social responsibility programmes and environmental affairs.
Mr Cheng is currently General Manager Sales Pearl River Delta & Hong Kong, overseeing passenger sales in these key territories for both Cathay Pacific and Dragonair.
His previous position in the airline was General Manager International Affairs, from 2010 to 2015. His main responsibilities included government relations, air-services agreements and regulatory issues.
Mr Cheng joined the Cathay Pacific Group in 1992 and has held a variety of management roles in Hong Kong and overseas. He has worked for the airline in Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam and Mainland China.
The current Director Corporate Affairs, James Tong, will assume the position of Acting Chief Executive Officer at Dragonair while Mr Algernon Yau is taking leave of absence.

國泰航空今天宣布， 鄭家駒 將於 7 月 11 日 起出任企業事務董事，統籌集團 的企業傳訊、 持份者關係、企業社會責任計劃 及環保事務。 鄭家駒 先生現時為 珠三角及香港營業總經理 ， 管理國泰及港龍在 香港及 珠 三角 市場的客運銷售事宜。 出任現職前， 他於 2010 年至 2015 年間擔任國際事務總經理，負責政府關 係、航空服務協議及規管事宜。 鄭家駒於 1992 年加入國泰航空集團，曾於香港及外地擔任多項要職，包括 台灣、印尼、越南及中國內地等等。 現任企業事務董事 唐偉邦 將 出任 港龍航空 署 理行政總裁 ，接替即將休假 的 丘應樺。
