Basel-Mulhouse Airport: election of Mr Luc GAILLET as President of the Board of Directors

During an extraordinary meeting held on 19 September 2018, the members and represented members of the Board of Directors of Basel-Mulhouse Airport unanimously elected Luc GAILLET as their new President. Luc GAILLET is an elected member of the Alsace Eurometropolitan Chamber of Industry and Commerce. He succeeds Jean-Pierre LAVIELLE, who died on 2 August 2018 and who received a tribute from the Board of Directors at the same meeting. On 9 August, 2018, Mr GAILLET was appointed member of the Board of Directors of Basel-Mulhouse Airport as a representative of the Alsace Eurometropolitan Chamber of Industry and Commerce by order of the French Ministry of Ecology and Solidarity Transition. Since the franco-swiss approval process has now been completed, Mr GAILLET has taken up his appointment on the Board of Directors on 17 October 2018. A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique in 1973, Mr GAILLET joined the Corps of Bridges and Roads.
