· Avianca and TACA recorded a 13.5% increase in passenger numbers between January and August 2012 compared to the same period in 2011.

· During the month of August, the airlines that make up the Holding transported more than two million passengers.

During August 2012, Avianca, Taca and subsidiaries transported 2,116,567 passengers, an increase of 14.6% compared to the same month the previous year, when they transported 1,847,435 people. ASK capacity (Available Seat Kilometers), grew by 8.9%.

Between January and August 2012, the airlines of AviancaTaca Holding flew 15,094,431 travelers, an increase of 13.5% compared to the first eight months of 2011, when passenger numbers stood at 13,293,707.

Domestic markets in Colombia, Peru and Ecuador

During August 2012, Avianca, Taca and subsidiaries registered a 24% increase in the number of passengers transported in the domestic markets of Colombia, Peru and Ecuador, by flying 1,218,766 people. This is compared to 982,641 in the eighth month of 2011. ASK capacity in these markets increased by 25.2%.

The number of passengers transported on domestic routes between January and August 2012 was 8,626,590, compared to 7,120,387 in the same period of 2011, representing an increase of 21.2%. ASK capacity rose by 24.03%.

International Market

On international routes, Avianca, Taca and subsidiaries reported an increase of 3.8% in passenger numbers during August, flying a total of 897,801 people compared to the 864,794 travelers transported in August 2011. ASK capacity in the international market grew by 5.7%.

During the first eight months of 2012, the number of passengers transported in international markets saw a 4.8% increase from 6,173,320 passengers in 2011 to 6,467,841 passengers in 2012.
