ASKY, The Pan African Airline, resumes flights effective August 3rd, 2020 Post COVID-19

Following the official government communique of July 30th, 2020, from the Minister of Infrastructures and Transports of the Republic of Togo informing the general public of the reopening of Togolese airspace for domestic and international flights effective August 01st, 2020, ASKY is pleased to confirm operations from its hub in Lomé - Togo to all other regional markets that have also opened up their airspace for international flights.
We are pleased to inform our passengers that a new flight schedule has been availed in the system effective August 3rd, 2020, for them to proceed with bookings and reservations. You can therefore contact your usual travel agencies, ASKY sales offices and websites.
We want to draw the attention of our esteemed passengers that the schedule that has been availed for sales might from time to time change based on the progressive reopening of other markets and increase in frequencies as we are currently limited to operate following approved number of frequencies as imposed by some governments.
We equally want to indicate that our primary objective during this relaunch of operations post COVID-19 is to provide the maximum connectivity to all opened markets in connection with our strategic partner Ethiopian Airlines in order to provide a seamless and best product for the shortest travel time possible to connect from/into our hub in Lomé, Togo to the rest of the world.
We want to reiterate that these flights will operate following the strict guidelines of measures put in place by each individual government specific to your travel destination as well as laid out roles by the International Civil Aviation Organization - ICAO and International Air Transport Association - IATA to curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the aviation sector.
We therefore request that before each of your journey with us, kindly refer to our website, government websites, local embassies and all communications and directives laid out by each government on the entry and exit requires and ensure you are in compliance before you set out on your journey. Airport arrival time before check-in will be a minimum 3 hours ahead of departure time on your flight tickets.
Our Dearest Esteemed passengers, traveling will never be the same again following new mandatory travel guidelines that have been put in place by all stakeholders as a result of COVID-19. We therefore want to plead with you all for maximum compliance to avoid any disagreements and delays to your flights. ASKY Airlines together with Lomé Airport Authorities have carried out an entire cleansing of all the airport facilities, equipment, built and put in place physical protective barriers to ensure the full respect of social distancing at the our ticketing offices and hub, thoroughly disinfecting our aircraft, which will be a constant process before each boarding, permanent supply of anti-bacteria gels, gloves and other Personal Protective Equipment - PPE to our cabin crew and ground personnel to ensure no direct contacts, and we have completely changed and revamped our menu on board introducing individual packaging that will completely eliminate all food and drinks manipulations.
