AirPlus International Inc. & Pana Announce Partnership Improving Non-Employee Business Travel

AirPlus International Inc. & Pana announced today that they have partnered to improve the travel process for non-employee travel for businesses. The combined effort provides companies a simplified way to offer travel for their recruits, contractors and any other guests that are not direct employees. According to internal research completed by Pana, one in five business trips involve a non-employee traveler.

"Whenever you have non-employee travel, it falls out of standard travel policy. Paying for this group of people can be challenging both at time of payment and also when reconciling to the proper department within the company. With our virtual payment and Pana's booking and concierge services, our partnership alleviates one of the larger 'out-of-policy' pain points that a company has to manage," states Rebecca Kilby, CEO of AirPlus International Inc. "Not to mention, it allows a company to really stand out to their recruits."

Pana provides an easy-to-use booking tool and award-winning chat platform that allows non-employee travelers to book their flights, hotel and rental car from an app. With each booking made, an AirPlus single-use virtual card is created and submitted to the travel supplier for payment. Non-employees no longer have to pay for travel out of pocket or request reimbursement, as all pre-trip expenses are centrally billed by AirPlus to the company. During the trip, Pana's concierge offers suggested services like dining and flight updates, as well as provides a mobile receipt upload for meal expenses.

"Pana strives to make the guest-travel experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible for both the coordinator and the traveler. Payment is a big part of that puzzle and partnering with AirPlus will be an amazing benefit to both our clients and theirs," remarked Devon Tivona, CEO of Pana.
