Airnotes: Covid-19 Flexibility Policy Clarification

Further to the Airnotes sent on 06 June, there was an erroneous date mentioned regarding international tickets. This has been corrected below.

For all international tickets purchased between 5-31 Mar (for any travel period)
Unlimited changes without change fee apply. Any fare difference applies. Date changes are permitted for 12 months from date of original issue.

For other International tickets traveling between 1 Apr-31 Aug 2020 (not 31 Aug 2021) the following options apply for customers

  1. Hold ticket value in credit. Value must be used no later than 30 Jun 2021, regardless of when the ticket was issued. When rebooking change fees have been waived as per the Flexibility Policy, additional collection and tax difference applies.

OR

  1. Change flexibility. The will change fee waived for one change only, changes are permitted up to system range. No additional collection applies within the same cabin, on same route, on NZ operated flights. Travel involving OAL must be booked in the original booking class.
    Note: To receive change flexibility within system range, NZ-AU tickets must be reissued prior to the original travel date or by the latest 30 Jun 2020, all other International tickets must be reissued prior to the original travel date or by the latest 31 Aug 2020.

Normal refund rules and cancellation fees apply. US DoT regulations apply.
