Airlines for America Applauds DHS for Expansion of International Pre-Clearance Roll Out

29-May-2015 Airlines for America (A4A), the industry trade organization for the leading U.S. airlines, today applauded the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) announced intention to further expand preclearance facilities in regions served by U.S. airlines.

"U.S. airlines drive $1.5 trillion in economic activity, and by improving the passenger experience for visitors or those returning to the United States, while improving security, we can build on that," said A4A President & CEO Nick Calio. "The addition of these pre-clearance airports will help increase safety and security while improving the passenger experience with shorter wait times and quicker connections on arrival in the U.S."
