Air traffic at HKIA Continues to be Impacted by Pandemic in June

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) today released the traffic figures of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) for June 2020, which were impacted by the on-going effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on global air travel. The airport recorded year-on-year decreases in passengers and flight movements of 99.1% and 71.8% to 59,000 and 9,945, respectively. Cargo throughput saw a decrease of 7.7% to 357,000 tonnes compared to the same month last year.
