Air Tanzania: TTB and ATCL sign MoU for Travel and Tourism Promotion

According to the two-year MoU, TTB will carry out special training for ATCL staff including Pilots and Cabin Crew on how to promote and market destination Tanzania to passengers aboard.

ATCL will have the opportunity to showcase its services in the tourism shows that TTB will be organizing and participating in. "ATCL and TTB are interlinked institutions when it comes to the development of tourism," Judge Thomas Mihayo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TTB, said during the signing ceremony. He also noted that ATCL will include destination Tanzania films in the inflight TV entertainment list.

The Board Chairman, Eng. Emmanuel Korosso, said that ATCL is fully committed to working with TTB in promoting destination Tanzania domestically and internationally. In the process of the expansion of fleet ATCL will be flying to many international destinations in the near future.

ATCL is the flag carrier airline of Tanzania based in Dar es Salaam with its hub at Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA). TTB is a government organization, mandated to promote and develop the tourism industry of Tanzania.
