Air France: Industrial action by air traffic controllers
20-Sep-2010 A general strike has been called in France on Thursday 23 September and some air traffic controller unions are planning industrial action.
As a result, French Civil Aviation Authorities (Direction Générale de l´Aviation Civile DGAC) have limited the number of flights for all airlines.
Therefore, we are cancelling some short- and medium-haul flights on September 23.
We plan to operate 100% of our long-haul flights and to reroute all our customers on our short- and medium-haul flights.
We apologize for any convenience this situation this may incur.
Please check your flight status before you travel to the airport, by:
- logging on to www.airfrance.com
- calling the Air France local call center or travel agent
- phoning Air France on 3654, if you are in France.
