Air Canada adds daily non-stop flights to Calgary.

The phenomenal growth continues at London International with today's announcement that Air Canada will be adding daily flights to Calgary.

The daily non-stop flights will allow passengers a short flight time to Calgary as well as providing convenient connections to other Western Canada destinations. London International is gearing up for its busiest year and travelers can expect the following additions:

Air Canada's Daily Flights to Calgary - Flights will be operated onboard Air Canada Rouge's A319 aircraft with a choice of two cabins, Wi-Fi options and in-flight entertainment streamed to personal devices. Air Canada has added these non-stop services between the considerable southern Ontario market (London) and Alberta to offer both convenient point-to-point travel, as well as easy connections at the Calgary hub to and from destinations throughout Alberta and BC including Vancouver Island. The new service is seasonal and will operate from June 24, 2019 until mid-October.

Swoop - Swoop will begin serving Londoners daily with three new domestic destinations including Edmonton, Abbotsford, and Halifax. Service to Edmonton will begin April 28th, with service to Abbotsford and Halifax beginning May 24th. Swoop is Canada's leading ultra-low-cost airline, independently operated as part of the WestJet Group of companies. Swoop operates a modern fleet of six Boeing 737-800 aircraft, equipped with in-seat power and Wi-Fi connectivity.

London International is emerging as the gateway airport in southern Ontario and now has non-stop domestic service to Abbotsford (Vancouver), Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax.
