Aeroflot introduces new options for upgrades

Aeroflot has started offering passengers a new option to upgrade before departure. Passengers holding Optimum fare Economy or Comfort class tickets can now use their Aeroflot Bonus miles to upgrade to a higher class.

Upgrade can be booked at the airport upon check-in. Miles will be deducted upon boarding, and a new boarding pass will be issued.

The new service is available on flights to Aeroflot's 18 most popular destinations in Russia and abroad.

Aeroflot Bonus programme members can also gift award upgrades to other passengers listed on their booking if they are also members of the programme and have provided their membership ID (subject to availability). If a customer selects this option, the number of miles deducted from his/her account will be double that of an individual upgrade.
