Aeroflot has credited 60,000,000 miles to the first 6,052 passengers vaccinated for COVID-19 as part of Miles for Vaccination campaign. Overall, the participants of the initiative, which launched on 15 May, will accrue 100,000,000 miles.

The Miles for Vaccination campaign aims to encourage the first 10,000 passengers of the airline, who got inoculated for COVID-19. Members of the carrier's frequent flyer program Aeroflot Bonus must get fully vaccinated during the campaign and take a flight to be eligible to receive 10,000 miles to their account. Aeroflot Bonus programme members aged 18 or over (excluding PJSC Aeroflot staff) are eligible to participate in the Miles for Vaccination campaign. Detailed information on the terms and conditions of the campaign is available on the website.

Aeroflot was the first Russian airline to launch an incentive programme for vaccinated passengers to actively support the COVID-19 vaccination campaign. 10,000 miles can be used to book a ticket from Moscow to Sochi, Simferopol, Anapa, Saint-Petersburg, Kazan, or Nizhny Novgorod (taxes and fees are paid separately). Miles can be redeemed for travel class upgrade (Comfort or Business, depending on destination). Miles can be spent to pay for car parking at Sheremetyevo Airport, or to purchase goods from Rewards Catalogue of the Aeroflot Bonus programme.

Aeroflot has rolled out a vaccination incentive programme for staff including flight crew and cabin crew. Each employee who got fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is given an extra paid vacation day. 75%, or over 13,000 Aeroflot employees have been fully vaccinated up to date.
