Acting CEO temporarily appointed to Tourism WA

Tourism WA CEO Steve Wood will be leaving his position tomorrow. Richard Sellers, current Director General of the Department of Transport, will temporarily act in the role. Tourism WA Chairman Nathan Harding said: "I welcome Richard to the role and look forward to working with him, especially during the recruitment process for Tourism WA's permanent executive leadership." Richard has been the Director General of the Department of Transport since 2016 and prior to that was the DG of the Department of Mines and Petroleum. He will start with the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation next week.
