Acquisition of Hong Kong Express Airways Limited - Completion

Reference is made to the announcement issued by Cathay Pacific Airways Limited (the "Company") on 27th March 2019 in respect of the acquisition by the Company of a 100% equity interest in Hong Kong Express Airways Limited. The Company is pleased to announce that such acquisition was completed on 19th July 2019.

This announcement is made by the Company pursuant to Rule 13.09(2) of the Listing Rules and Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution in dealing in shares of the Company.
