02-Aug-2011 The amount of revenue targeted for aviation system improvements lost in the wake of the ongoing shutdown of the Federal Aviation Administration and the expiration of the agency's authority to collect aviation excise taxes has surpassed an estimated $300 million, as highlighted on the American Association of Airport Executives' (AAAE) "Lost Revenue Counter," which can be viewed at www.aaae.org.
