Lufthansa Aviation Training offers a range of airline personnel training including flight crew and cabin crew through a variety of worldwide locations. In 1990, Lufthansa assembled and combined all of its training offers for flight personnel in a newly-founded, independent training division. On  1-Jan-1997, the entire training division for Lufthansa flight personnel was outsourced off into an independent organization: Lufthansa Flight Training GmbH. In addition to its cockpit and cabin crew training portfolio, Lufthansa Aviation Training is also continually modernising and expanding its fleet of full-flight simulators. Lufthansa Aviation Training has training centres located in Frankfurt, Berlin, Bremen, Munich, Phoenix, Vienna and Zurich.
