Longyan Dongxiao Airport is a proposed airport development to serve the city of Longyan, Fujian Province. The new Longyan Airport is planned as a category 4C regional airport with 2800m x 45m runway and 12,000 sqm terminal building, providing one million passengers p/a capacity. The airport long term plan targets category 4E with extension of runway to 3200m and total terminal area of 38,000 sqm, providing 3.5 million passengers p/a capacity.

Nov-2019. The New Longyan Airport is planned as a category 4C regional airport with 2800m x 45m runway and 12,000 sqm terminal building, providing one million passengers p/a capacity. Longyan Dongxiao Airport Construction Company issued a tender offer for New Longyan Airport 2019-2020 weather equipment comprehensive service project, including manual weather observation, automatic observation equipment installation, data storage and data analysis.
