Lachin International Airport will serve Lachin, near Korchu village in Azerbaijan. The airport is scheduled to be completed in 2025.
May-2025. Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport announced the inauguration of Azerbaijan's ninth international airport in Lachin. The airport features a 5000sqm terminal with capacity to handle over 200 passengers per hour and a 3000 metre long runway.
Jan-2025. Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport announced plans to open Azerbaijan's ninth international airport in Lachin in 2025. President Ilham Aliyev stated four new airports were built in Gabala, Zaqatala, Fuzuli and Zangilan in 2024, and a ninth airport will be commissioned in 2025.
