About
Lufthansa Technik Budapest is a Hungarian joint venture founded by Lufthansa Technik AG (85%) and Malév Hungarian Airlines (15%) in 2000. It is part of the Lufthansa Technik Network, a group of international aircraft overhaul and repair entities under Lufthansa Group. The Budapest division specialises in the overhaul of Boeing 737/737NG and A320 family. It's 2800sqm base is at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport. Malév Hungarian Airlines' 15% stake in the MRO company was transferred to Budapest Airport in 2009.
